Our Haze Gilets has been treated with a PFC-free Durable Water-Repellent finish (DWR), which keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job. This coating needs to be replenished periodically, using treatments such as Grangers Spray-On, McNett Revivex, Nikwax TX-Direct and Tectron DWR Treatment.

Nice
It's a nice top that really helps keep the wind chill at bay. Pro's it's well made and the material is good quality the mess down the sides does a really good job of regulating temp. Con's I'd say the armholes are cut very very tight especially when layering up. The small fits me perfectly in the body and around the chest making flap nonexistent so moving up to the medium would prove too big for me. I'd say that maybe an SM needs adding to the range to allow for fine-tuning of fit especially when layering up. Other than that its a really nice top that keeps me dry and well insulated from the wind.

Size and back pocket
Size is a little smaller than I expected, although the quality of the Gilet is excellent. There are no back pockets.

Excellent value garment - the fit is excellent and it provides the protection need as an additional layer to keep windchill out.
